Hull City's players will head back to Turkey next month to take advantage of some warm-weather training during the upcoming international break.
The Tigers' squad will head to Antalya on October 7 for a week-long training camp a couple of days after their away game at Norwich City on Saturday week, the third game inside a week following clashes with QPR and this weekend's meeting with Cardiff City.
Walter's men will return to England on Saturday, October 12, ready to prepare for two mammoth home games starting with the showdown with Sunderland on Sunday, October 20 and the visit of Burnley to the MKM Stadium the following Wednesday evening.
City boss Tim Walter will use the trip as an opportunity to knit together his group after a flurry of signings in the last few weeks, with all but one of their 17 new arrivals joining since the pre-season trip to Istanbul in July.
It will provide Walter with the perfect chance to have the likes of Joao Pedro, Steven Alzate, Abu Kamara, Mohamed Belloumi and Carl Rushworth spend more time with the existing group of players, having arrived on deadline day, or in the case of Alzate and Pedro, more recently, while offering Dogukan Sinik more time on the training pitch, and so, too, injured quartet Ryan Longman, Andy Smith, Thimothee Lo-Tutala and Harvey Cartwright.
Unfortunately for Walter, he will be without international duo Kasey Palmer and Liam Millar, both of whom will be away on international duty with Canada and Jamaica respectively.
"It's another pre-season camp, but unfortunately we have a few national players missing, but it's good to have the rest all together with the full squad, almost to prepare them again and especially to spend a lot of time together," Walter told Hull Live. "Spending the time together and not doing only things on the pitch, but also outside the pitch. For me, that's really important if you want to create a family environment, so that's good to have."
