A burst water main overnight has meant that a section of Willerby Road will have to be closed while repairs takes place.
The burst water main was reported in the early hours of September 20.
Yorkshire Water have confirmed they have repaired the issue, however, repairs to the road are now required. A diversion is in place until repairs can be completed.
A spokesperson for Yorkshire Water said: "We experienced a burst water main last night on Willerby Road. The water main was repaired in the early hours of the morning but there is some damage to the road surface which requires repair before reinstatement can take place. Our teams are on site carrying out this work.
"To do this safely, a section of Willerby Road will remain closed over the weekend. A diversion is in place and we apologise for any inconvenience caused."
