ITV are back with another gripping drama - and this time its a northern one.
Viewpoint will air on Monday evening with an all-star cast aiming to hook viewers every night this week.
The stylish thriller sees Noel Clarke play Detective Martin Young who is part of a police surveillance unit aiming to solve a mystery in a seemingly tight-knit Manchester community.
When beloved primary school teacher Gemma Hillman, played by Amy Wren, vanishes into thin air, DC Young decides to set up his observation post in the home of single mum Zoe Sterling, played by No Offence star Alexandra Roach.
His reasoning is simple - Zoe’s flat commands a panoramic view of all the comings and goings in Westbury Square, Manchester Evening News reports.

More specifically, he can see straight into the flat that Gemma shares with boyfriend Greg Sullivan (played by Fehinti Balogun) who is the prime suspect in her disappearance.
But Martin is a man carrying his own burden of trauma and guilt and he starts to question if he can trust what he observes? Could he be projecting his own loneliness and remorse onto the ostracised Greg?
And are his developing feelings for the combative Zoe – with her own penchant for voyeurism – compromising his ability to do his job?
ITV describe the new drama as "Mining the paranoid hinterland of Rear Window and The Lives Of Others" saying it will " deliver a contemporary, character-driven murder mystery with a seductively intimate feel.
They add: "It’s as much about friendship, trust and community as it is about solving a crime - it’s about the tension between our public and private lives and the secrets and horrors that thrive behind closed doors……especially when we think no-one’s watching."
Here's more on the characters, and actors, who will bring to life the drama of Viewpoint this week.
Who stars in Viewpoint? Where have I seen them before?
Noel Clarke plays DC Martin Young, an officer in the Manchester police surveillance unit investigating the mysterious disappearance of primary school teacher Gemma King. The character is facing his own demons and is living apart from his wife and son in the drama.
Award-winning actor Noel has won huge acclaim for his roles on TV, film and as a director, with many knowing him for his role as Sam in the series of Kidulthood films, which he also wrote and directed. Earlier this month he won the BAFTA Outstanding Contribution to Cinema Award and was praised for his inspiring speech.
Alexandra Roach plays Zoe Sterling , the woman whose house DC Young commandeers for the surveillance. Alexandra will be familiar to many for her role as police officer Joy Freers in Channel 4's brilliant No Offence, another Manchester-set drama. She also recently starred in Killing Eve and Death in Paradise for the BBC.
Fehinti Balogun plays Greg Sullivan , the boyfriend of the missing teacher Gemma Hillman, who swiftly becomes prime suspect.
Actor Fehinti is known for film roles including in Juliet, Naked, in thriller The Gallery and on Sky TV's Urban Myths.
Catherine Tyldesley plays Kate Tuckman , while Dominic Allburn plays her husband Carl Tuckman .
On the face of it they look like the perfect couple, with Kate as the perfect school run mum with a sideline as a social media influencer, while Carl runs a successful business. But behind the scenes, all is not quite as perfect.
Coronation Street fans will immediately recognise Cath as the soap's former blonde bombshell Eva Price. Since leaving Corrie, the Walkden actress went on to a starring role on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, as well as in the BBC's comedy drama Scarborough.
Bronagh Waugh plays DC Stella Beckett , a tough and world-weary police officer.
Bronagh will be known to millions of Hollyoaks fans as the loveable Cheryl Brady, a role she played for six years. After leaving the soap she went on to a leading role in hit BBC drama The Fall, as the betrayed wife of Jamie Dornan's killer Paul Spector.
Phil Davis plays DI Liam Cox , the head of Manchester's special surveillance unit and the boss of Stella and Martin.
Actor Phil has had a long and varied career in film and TV, and is best known for film roles in Vera Drake, Quadrophenia and The Bounty. TV roles include in Bleak House, Being Human and Whitechapel.
Corrie fans can also look out for the soap's former Owen Armstrong actor Ian Puleston-Davies who will turn up as ex-Detective Inspector Don Vernon.
Where was Viewpoint filmed?
Viewpoint's director Ashley Way said he particularly wanted to show parts of Manchester in the drama that people may not have seen on screen before.
He said: "Manchester is a beautiful place. It's a modern city that is very much rooted in its industrial past, which for a filmmaker is a dream.
"There are many rich architectural textures, showing its traditional past alongside its modern future.
"You often see a lot of Castlefield and the Northern Quarter but we wanted to show people the concrete and glass, and the beautiful Georgian streets that it's not necessarily known for.
"We wanted to energise the story with all these architectural styles. Thankfully Manchester has all that in abundance."
Viewpoint is on ITV Monday - Friday at 9pm this week
