Storm Lilian has arrived in Hull as the north of the UK is under an amber yellow warning alert for severe winds.
The Met Office officially named Storm Lilian yesterday morning and the worst of the weather will last until 11am with wind gusts of 50mph. The Humber Bridge has been closed to high-sided vehicles due to strong winds between Barton and Hessle.
But a terrifying video posted by Sean Tindale in our Hull Traffic & Travel Facebook page showed a lorry toppling from side to side in the crosswinds as it crossed the bridge earlier.
Posting on X (Twitter), Humber Bridge News said: "Traffic Update: We have a 20mph speed restriction in place, and are closed to high sided and wind vulnerable vehicles."
In the Avenues, a large tree has fallen down. Four trees were reported to have fallen across Hull this morning, according to Avenue Ward Labour.
Hull Live will shortly visit East Park after readers reported damage in the area.

The footage was filmed by Craig Jackson who said the windshield was "blown out". The bus is showing the number 350 which is the Hull to Scunthorpe service via Barton that crosses the Humber Bridge. Hull Live has approached Go Ahead, who own East Yorkshire buses, for a statement.
