A special vigil to pay respects six months since the Legacy scandal first came to light will take place in Hull next week.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend the event at the bandstand in Pickering Park (Hessle Road entrance) at 7pm on Thursday, September 5. The Lord Mayor of Hull, Cllr Mark Collinson, and the Lady Mayoress, Cllr Christine Randall, will also be in attendance to pay their respects.
Karen Dry, whose parents were cremated by Legacy in 2016 and 2019, said she will keep holding vigils on the first Thursday of each month to keep the heart-breaking case at the forefront of people's minds.

In July, Humberside Police confirmed they had identified 163 families linked to ashes found at Legacy Independent Funeral Directors on Hessle Road. In March, officers removed 35 bodies from the site.
A 46-year-old man, 54-year-old woman and 23-year-old woman were all arrested in connection with the case, but no charges have yet been made.
Karen told Hull Live: "This vigil will mark six months since the scandal first came to light. I'm going to keep putting a vigil on every month to keep it in the news and at the forefront of people's minds so people don't forget what has gone on.
"A couple of people who had never been to the vigils came to the last one and found it really helpful. People are finding, as time is moving on, that it's getting easier to talk about, so I'd encourage anyone to come along, make themselves known and get some support from people down there.
"Everyone is invited, and we need all the support we can get."
