Long before the days of the internet and mobile phones, meeting up with your friends required a little more preparation, and a lot more faith - once you'd arranged your place and time, that was it!
Hull's landscape has changed a lot over the years, and as a result, so have the most popular meet-up spots. While teenagers today might congregate outside the train station, or head into St Stephen's to wait for their friends, the picture 20 or 30 years ago was a whole lot different.
Whether you met your friends at Fletcher's fountain, outside the popular deli, or took to the White Rose Café to catch up with your chums, everyone in the city had their preferred spot.
