New Look is selling an 'expensive looking' pair of autumn boots that could be easily mistaken for Givenchy. The high-street fashion retailer's Black Foldover Leather Look Knee High Boots only cost a faction of the price of Givenchy's 'lookalike' designer pair for £1,700.
Celebrities like Molly-Mae Hague have even been seen in the designer footwear, which is making a comeback for this season. Givenchy's Shark Lock wide-fit leather knee-high boots cost £ 1,750, so for anyone hoping to get their hands on the stylish shoes, New Look's budget-friendly pair is a good option.
New Look's Black Foldover Leather Look Knee High Boots were originally priced at £59.99, but they have been given an impressive 25% off discount. Shoppers can now buy them for only £44.99 and they're perfect for keeping your legs warm while looking stylish as the weather changes.
This means that by opting for New Look's pair, you can get the same look but for £1,705 less. The statement boots can turn any autumn look into an eye-catcher.
Their distinctive shape truly shines when matched with mini skirts, oversized jackets, or tucked into leggings alongside a cosy, relaxed sweater-dress. On New Look's website, you can get the £45 boots in sizes 4, 6, 7 and 9 online currently.
Plus, by adding £5 more to your order, you can be eligible for free home delivery. The shoes are designed for maximum comfort as they feature head-to-toe padding and a flexible sole. They also come fully cushioned with thicker foam lining.
New Look describes the shoes as "a statement style". The store added: "These foldover boots are a bold design that pairs well with mini lengths to show off their interesting silhouette."
There are still a few differences between Givenchy's pair and New Look's, beside price. Despite first appearances, New Look's shoes aren't leather as the brand states them as 'leather look' and they don't have a logo embossed padlock like Givenchy's design.
The boots have just hit the online shelves, so shoppers are yet to leave reviews about their style and fit yet. However, they're likely to become a hit, especially for Molly-Mae fans who are looking to achieve her look for a fraction of the price.
Ego is selling its Ava Lock Detailed Pointed Block Heel Boots for £46. Meanwhile at Quiz, you can get its Black Faux Suede Fold Down Boots for half price, at £25.
Elsewhere, Amazon is selling a pair of black foldover boots that feature a side zipper and a padlock design. For £79.82, shoppers can get the faux leather look, with four other colours to pick from - including pale pink, green, purple and red.
The shoes have a customer rating of 4.2 stars out of five. Jacelin wrote: "These boots are very comfortable and quite stylish, the price was reasonable and the fit is spot on." Claudia added: "Couldn’t believe I found this amazing, stunning and comfortable boots here.
"I was hesitant to pay more that $2k for the Italian brand and then I saw this. They are amazing! Super comfy! Looks great."
Lekeia, who bought a pair for her birthday, said: "They were very comfortable the whole night and style of the shoe is everything. I received so many compliments on these boots. The definitely true to size. I ordered a 10. They are worth the price I paid for them."
However, one shopper had an issue with size, claiming: "Not for girls with calf muscles. Could not get pass my calf and they were so cute."
