Christine Lampard is, without a doubt, one of telly's most fashionable presenters and thankfully - for us - a number of her outfits are sourced from the high street, which is great for fans who want to recreate her look. From Mango to Marks & Spencer, the Irish presenter has given us gorgeous inspiration for our retail trips and one cashmere jumper from British retailer M&S has proven to be a popular buy for fashion lovers.
The TV star was first spotted in the lightweight knit in October 2022, reports The Mirror, when she stood in for Lorraine Kelly on her titular show, Lorraine, and finished off the look with a skirt from Topshop and a pair of nude court heels.
The Pure Cashmere Crew Neck Jumper by Autograph retails at £85 and comes in 16 different colours, from Christine's Khaki Marl shade (although there are limited sizes left) to sunshine yellow and lacquer red. Available in sizes six to 24 the luxuriously soft jumper is perfect for keeping you cosy and warm in winter but is also a brilliant option for those chillier summer evenings because of the lightness of the material meaning it's a jumper that can be worn all year round.
Cut to a regular fit, the jumper features a flattering crew neckline with ribbed trims along the cuffs and hem making it a classic style that can be worn with both trousers and skirts and is easy to dress up or down thanks to its material's elegant finish.
Sharing her high-street look to Instagram, Christine posted a picture of her in front of what we believe to be the ITV building with the caption: "Happy Thursday! Back tomorrow for my final stint of the week on @lorraine top from @marksandspencer skirt from @topshop."
Unsurprisingly, her post quickly accrued a number of glowing comments that praised her outfit, one stating: " Such a fab outfit - love this Christine," while another added: "Like the green, one of my favourite colours.x"
A third chimed: "Outfit is gorge."
It's no wonder the cashmere jumper itself has racked up almost 4,000 reviews on Marks & Spencer's website with a 4.2 rating and fans raving about it's 'good quality' and 'luxury' feel - so much so many have bought it in several colours.
One said: "I've had several of these, and they are still my favourite: hard-wearing, cosy to wear, and so comfortable. I will be back for more when needed, and hoping that there might be some new colours - but having said that, please don't discontinue the staple colours amongst your range."
A second shopper described it as a "Lovely soft jumper and really flattering to wear with anything."
"Beautiful colour, super smart. Incredibly useful for both smart and casual," remarked another.
One frequent comment however was that the sizing can sometimes be a bit off, with a number of shoppers stating their purchase was 'tiny' or 'too big'. One M&S fan wrote: "I’m very glad I chose the jumper in the larger size because the waistband is much tighter than I like."
That being said, a cashmere jumper such as this is a staple in any wardrobe and is the perfect addition coming into spring. To snap up Christine's exact fit, see Marks & Spencer's website here. Alternatively, Uniqlo offers a similar style in a number of gorgeous colours from a peachy pink to light blue for £89.90 as does COS, whose pure cashmere jumper is £155.
