The movie location stops on new Hullywood walking trail
New leaflet celebrates productions filmed in city, from Only Fools and Horses, to The Crown
A new "Hullywood" trail has been created to celebrate the city's success as a movie filming location.
It takes in locations from comedies such as Only Fools and Horses, to historical dramas including The Crown. City centre visitors can walk to at least six locations, with other spots across Hull also highlighted.
A leaflet called ‘It must be Hullywood’ has been created with a map of the filming locations and pictures submitted by residents, which capture sets and characters from several of the productions. The leaflet will be available from the Visitor Information Pod at Paragon Interchange.

Other films highlighted include the comedy-drama Enola Holmes 2, starring Millie Bobby Brown, and the Netflix thriller Bodies, which was filmed at Princes Quay and in High Street. A few lesser-known productions also make an appearance, including National Treasure, which was filmed around The Guildhall, including outside the Three John Scotts pub.
Councillor Rob Pritchard, the portfolio holder for culture and leisure, said: “We’ve hosted many Hollywood stars and some of Hull’s prime locations have been completely transformed, attracting visitors from far and wide. This new trail offers sightseers a chance to see some of our most popular sites so far and spot some of the buildings and streets they’ve seen in their favourite shows.”
Here are the films and TV series chosen by the guide - and photos of some of the locations they were filmed in.
