Hull City Council have appointed Hessle based construction company CR Reynolds to support the planned improvements to both Humber Dock Street and Princes Dock Street.
The plans to upgrade Humber Dock Street and Princes Dock Street are a part of the council's mission to rejuvenate Hull’s city centre, creating spaces that are not only more accessible but also more inviting and flexible for both residents and visitors.
With the regeneration of the Marina area, the city council are seeking to build upon the various improvements made to the city centre as a result of Hull being awarded the UK's City of Culture in 2017.
The plans aim to create more inclusive and accessible spaces, with new landscaping, new seating and improved heritage interpretation as well as the introduction of a linear park alongside Humber Dock Street.
These projects have been made possible through the support of National Highways and Hull City Council funding.
