The actress was born and grew up in Beverley.

Anna had dreamed all her life of becoming actress even though her family had no background in the arts whatsoever.
Her dad was a managing director of a pharmaceutical company, while her mother was a research scientist.
Anna attended Beverley High School before being accepted into drama school, where she was often the star of school plays.
By the age of 11 she thought she might have a career singing in working men’s clubs.
The same year, a friend took her to after-school drama classes.
She told the Daily Mail: "And that was it, I was going to be an actress. I found my future."
She added: "I had these amazing parents who never said, 'Oh, I don’t think so, Anna'"
She original wanted to attend the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art - essential the Oxbridge of drama schools.
The 43-year-old went to study in Liverpool at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art which subsequently propelled her career.
Whilst at drama school her father sadly passed on.
Career
After completing her studies, Anna delved into the theatre world gaining a number of roles includes the role of Lyra Belacqua in the original of His Dark Materials at the Royal National Theatre.

What can we expect from Anna's character in Line of Duty upon her return?
The actor appeared as the no-nonsense officer in the final two episodes of series five, quickly becoming a fan favourite.
Viewers will remember she led the interrogation of AC-12′s Superintendent Ted Hastings when he was under suspicion of being mysterious organised crime boss ‘H’.
Her return on Sunday comes as Ted is facing a forced retirement, potentially opening the door for Carmichael to take control.
Martin, who also stars in BBC comedy Motherland, said: “Pat’s back, I can’t remember what she’s doing there, nor would I be allowed to blab, but suffice to say she’s got some new clobber and she’s ready to bust some balls.”
BBC bosses hint she could be about to take control after Hastings was forced into retirement, following Chief Constable Philip Osborne’s plan to cut numbers in Central Police’s anti-corruption units.
Viewers last saw Patricia Carmichael in series five when AC-3 was brought in to investigate Superintendent Ted Hastings as a potential member of a ring of corrupt police officers colluding with the OCG and a contender for a mysterious 'H'.
It's safe to say when she's in the room, she means business.
Line Of Duty airs on Sunday nights at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
