Widely hailed as one of the leading racing events in the country, Ladies’ Day at Beverley Racecourse on August 14, is expected to be bigger and better than ever before.
Ladies' Day, presented by Porsche Centre Hull for the third year running, is undoubtedly one of the biggest days in the Yorkshire horse racing calendar with people coming from all across the UK to this glittering event.
The event is a chance for punters to up the ante in the fashion stakes, put on a display of colour and creativity and a chance for women and men of all ages to get dressed up and enjoy an exciting day at the races with their friends and family.
At Beverley Racecourse, the team takes Ladies' Day one step further. While it’s best known as a sporting event, Ladies' Day goes beyond horse racing as it is also a huge, colourful and stylish social occasion, and the event hosts 10,000 racegoers.
Joe Pollak, marketing & partnerships manager at Beverley Racecourse, said: “Ladies' Day 2024 is the ideal day out with friends. The historic day is filled with laughs, racing, and our well-known and award-winning hospitality.

Beverley Racecourse has been part of the historic market town of Beverley for over 300 years. In 1752, the Jockey Club was founded and the first Grandstand was built in 1767.
It has long been a brilliant place to visit, though there are now more reasons to visit than ever before. As recently as 2022, the racecourse was listed in the top 10 racecourses for a race day experience, the only ‘small’ racecourse to make the list. Since then, it has won awards for both its customer service and warmest welcome.
According to Tripadvisor Reviews, no racecourse in Yorkshire has a higher overall score on Tripadvisor than Beverley with more than 85% of reviews rated ‘Excellent’ or ‘Very Good.’
