It's one of the newest venues in town - and not many others can stay that it has a pond inside.
Iron Lilies opened in Princes Quay back in July. Its eye-catching botanical theme offers a taste of a "whimsical world", with a menu to match.
I went to visit the new restaurant and bar to see what it's like.

Walking into the new venue on the second floor of Princes Quay, I felt a little out of place. The décor was like something taken out of a magazine, and I could have been in an outside oasis for all I knew. It was definitely more high-end than I'm used to.
As I wandered through the massive venue, I immediately noticed the big drawing point - the water feature. It is not often that you have to walk over a bridge to get to additional seating.
I also couldn't help but notice how attentive the staff were. You could argue that it's to be expected in a higher-end place, but the attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
Though the alcohol and cocktail menu was extensive, I settled for a raspberry lemonade.
The food menu featured a selection of smaller dishes from 'the farm', 'the ground' - which are all vegetarian and vegan - and from 'the sea'. Some of the delicacies on offer are cocktail chorizo sausages, Wagyu meatballs, Thai cauliflower steak, salt and pepper squid, and Thai scallops.
Three small plates cost £24, but I only had the appetite for the salt and pepper squid and soy & honey pork belly bites. It came to a total of £22, £4 for the drink and £8 for each plate (and a £2 service charge).
For appetisers, I felt I made the right choice. The soy & honey coating on the pork belly was a perfect mix of sweetness and richness. The squid was chewy and meaty - how squid should be. The aioli on the side left me wanting more.
The classy décor acts as a great backdrop for an evening meal or a few cocktails. While it is on the pricier side, the atmosphere alone means it's a place worth considering for a special occasion.
The serving staff were very professional, getting rid of any worries I had about feeling out of place. I can imagine on a night when it gets darker, it would only add to the atmosphere.
Iron Lilies is open seven days a week from 11am until late. Food is be served from 11am through to 9pm.
