A man who carried a large machete and baseball bat in public, a thief who stole thousands of pounds' worth of items from shops and a woman who assaulted a nurse have been sentenced at Hull Magistrates' Court.
While some cases were adjourned to a later date and others sent to Hull Crown Court, magistrates in Hull still handed out many prison sentences, suspended sentence orders and community orders to offenders from across East Yorkshire last week.
Here are ten people who have been sentenced at Hull Magistrates' Court in recent days.
Reece King, 42, of Cowslip Chase, Kirkella was found guilty of two counts of the possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, namely a large 50cm machete and a wooden baseball bat. He was jailed for six months.
Liam Elvidge, 24, of Queens Road, Beverley indicated pleas of guilty to 15 counts of theft from a shop in which he stole more than £1,200 worth of products from various shops. He also pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence. He was given a community order with the requirement to undergo drug rehabilitation and ordered to pay £484 in compensation.
Danielle Heslop, 24, of Hutt Street, Hull indicated a plea of guilty to the assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely a senior nurse, and two counts of criminal damage in which she damaged a computer monitor belonging to Hull Royal Infirmary and a mobile phone belonging to Humberside Police. She was given a community order and ordered to pay £100 in compensation, a £114 victim services surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Michael Williamson, 33, of Dorset Street, Hull indicated a plea of guilty to the possession of a bladed article in a public place, namely a Stanley knife. He was ordered to pay a fine of £583, a £233 victim services surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Andrieia Farcas, 23, of Spring Bank, Hull pleaded guilty to three counts of theft from a shop in which she stole clothing worth £93 from Next, clothing worth £63 from H&M and clothing worth £26 from TK Maxx. She was given a one-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £26 victim services surcharge.
Barry Crittenden, 42, of Waterloo Street, Hull indicated pleas of guilty to the theft of items from a motor vehicle, namely bags, a jacket, a pair of gloves and glasses, and going equipped to steal from a motor vehicle, namely by having in his possession a drill and drill bits. He was jailed for three months.
Jamie Turner, 50, of Nornabell Street, Hull pleaded guilty to the assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely a police officer. He was given a one-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £26 victim services surcharge.
Levelle Salter, 35, of Thoresby Street, Hull pleaded guilty to assault by beating and criminal damage in which he damaged the door of a vehicle. He was given a community order and ordered to pay £250 in compensation.

David Grimmer, 42, of Rowlston Grove, Hull pleaded guilty to the common assault of an emergency worker, namely a police constable. He was given a one-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £26 victim services surcharge.
James Rennard, 41, of Green Lane, Bridlington was found guilty of one count of theft from a shop in which he stole a screwdriver worth £260 from Screwfix. He was given a two-year suspended sentence order and ordered to pay £650 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and £150 in compensation.
