Hull City have confirmed the Walton Street car park will be closed for this weekend's game against Cardiff City at the MKM Stadium, and have advised those who normally use the area to seek alternative arrangements.
City play their first 3pm home game of the season against the managerless Bluebirds looking to back up last Friday night's fine win at Stoke City, as Tim Walter claimed his first success as Tigers boss.
The closure comes as members of the Showman's Guild have begun arriving at the site to set up the annual Hull Fair which kicks off on Friday week and runs daily until Saturday, October 12.

"Walton Street car park will be closed for the Cardiff City match due to the imminent arrival of Hull Fair," City said in a statement in response to numerous fan queries. Disabled supporters should be aware that the Carnegie car park will also be closed for the game on Saturday 28 September.
"Supporters are advised to find alternative means of getting to the stadium, including public transport and the Priory Park & Ride service. Those travelling by car are recommended to use car parks in the city centre, around a 20-minute walk from the stadium. Please allow extra time for your journey and arrive in plenty of time ahead of the 3pm kick-off."
City, meanwhile, are urging supporters to take advantage of a special ticket offer for the game against the side from South Wales, after slashing prices to celebrate the club's 120th birthday.
The Tigers are using the game to revel in their unique history with junior tickets costing just £3.50 in all areas of the stadium, while adults will pay just £15 to watch Walter's men in action.
Tickets remain available from all the usual places including via the club's ticket website which can be accessed here.
