The fourth vigil to support grieving families affected by the Legacy scandal in Hull will be held tonight (Thursday, August 1).
In a bid to keep the case at the forefront of people's minds, Karen Dry, whose parents were cremated by Legacy in 2016 and 2019, said she will keep holding vigils on the first Thursday of each month for the time being.
Last month, Humberside Police confirmed they had identified 163 families linked to ashes found at Legacy Independent Funeral Directors on Hessle Road. In March, officers removed 35 bodies from the site.

A 46-year-old man, 54-year-old woman and 23-year-old woman were all arrested in connection with the case, but no charges have yet been made.
Karen told Hull Live: "We just need to keep it in the news, that's the whole idea of [the vigils]. We've said the vigils will continue to keep it in people's minds that this is what these families are still going through.
"I'm going to do a vigil on the first Thursday of every month. We're still going through this trauma and this turmoil, it's perpetual. I'm not going to rest. If I put a vigil on every month and I'm the only one who attends, that's fine by me. We're in this situation and none of us want to be in it, it's cruel and wicked.
"Some families who didn't think they were involved are now involved so we welcome them now, but we welcome the whole community.
The vigil will be held tonight (Thursday, August 1) from 7pm to 8pm at the bandstand in Pickering Park (Hessle Road entrance).
"Families have been able to come to the vigil and say how they feel confidentially," Karen said.
"We've gone from being perfect strangers to friends who gather once a month. We stand round and have a chat and a prayer and talk about progress since the last vigil. It's all very relaxed and respectful.
"People are welcome to bring candles, flowers, balloons, cuddly toys - whatever brings them comfort.
"We're all in turmoil, it's an awful situation to be thrust into."
