It is never too early to start thinking about Christmas! Sewerby Hall and Gardens Winter Woodland is bigger and better than ever this festive season, providing a memorable night for all.

It will take place from December 6 until December 22. If you buy your tickets by September 1 you can take advantage of early bird prices, with fantastic savings - including nearly 30% on family tickets.

This year you can join Puss in Boots and his pantomime pals for a special adventure

A new spectacular display of lights, sounds and special effects will bring the grounds to life. Join Puss in Boots and his pantomime pals in their quest to follow the clues left by Golden Goose to rescue her from old King Troll, and release her magic.

Join the journey into Winter Woodland and help Puss defeat the darkness with the biggest and brightest magical light show yet.

Enjoy a festive walk in the woods

This fantastic upcoming event is a not to be missed opportunity to enjoy the enchanted woodland on a free-flowing walk, lit up with stunning displays of colour, and to join the panto cast in a fully immersive experience, followed by festive hot food and drink enjoyed under the winter starry night.

The house itself will be filled with Christmas decorations, lights and trees, and the cheeky elves will be hiding in the rooms. There will also be a new exhibition in the house, Puss in Boots through the ages and a festive trail and festive activities around the house.

A wide variety of hot food and drinks are available from Stables Pizza Company, Love Hog Roast, Peaky Grinders and the Clock Tower Café. The courtyard marquee will house a licensed bar, from Louisianna bars.

There will be five sessions each evening. Arrival times will be 4.30pm to 5pm, 5pm to 5.30pm, 5.30pm to 6pm, 6pm to 6.30pm, 6.50pm and on Friday, Saturday and Sundays an additional arrival time of 6.50pm to 7.15pm is available.

The only exception is on December 11 and 16, when the first two performances will be relaxed, featuring reduced volume, no haze or smoke machines, and no fire in the finale.

From September 2, weekday tickets will cost £23 for adults, £17 for children, £71 for a family ticket (two adults and two children). Under three’s go free. On weekends tickets will cost £27 for adults, £20 for children, £84 for a family ticket (two adults and two children).

Early bird discounts run until midnight on September 1. You can also take advantage of a personalised payment plan, with an initial payment of only 25% of the total ticket price when spending £50 or over.
