Actor and presenter Danny Dyer has added a celebrity element to proceedings at Beverley Ladies’ Day.

The former EastEnders star and game show host recorded a special message to mark the 30th year of the popular raceday. It was shared on X earlier today (Wednesday, August 14) with Beverley Racecourse posting: “Happy 30th birthday to us and we are overwhelmed with well wishes! We hope to see you soon as we celebrate a major milestone at Beverley Races.”

Danny delivered his novel video, in typical hard-man style, while smoking a cigarette. He said: “This is a birthday message for the wonderful, beautiful, Beverley, who’s turning 30.

“She just loves to have fun with her friends, family – of course you do, darlin’ – and loves a bet, apparently, winners or losers. So maybe we’ll go down the old Walthamstow dog track one day, my sweets.

“Anyway, I’ve heard that you always try to be the best at whatever you put your mind to and I love that trait. So, Beverley, one day our paths will cross. Happy birthday, beautiful.”

The post has had more than 1,600 views so far. Joining the actor in marking the milestone have been other celebrities too.

Among them was James Buckley, Judy Murray, Becky Adlington and Paul from the Chuckle Brothers. They all posted personalised video messages for "Beverley's 30th".
