Take this entertaining quiz to discover whether you're the kind who'd leave the house without a brolly despite overcast skies.
It's derived from a study involving 2,000 adults which unveiled the usual everyday gambles we make, ranging from munching on out-of-date food, setting off with our mobiles barely charged, and braving potential downpours sans umbrella.
Other common gambles encompass turning up at eateries unannounced hoping for a table, jaywalking at a red light, and racing through a yellow signal while driving.
The lineup of everyday risks featured in the survey also counts scenarios like dashing from the bathroom for a towel mid-shower, indulging in late-night caffeine, and airing laundry al fresco without checking the weather.
A Lottoland representative commented on the findings, saying: "We're a nation of tiny risk-takers. Sometimes the chances we take can pay off like turning up at a fancy restaurant with no booking, or trying your luck at a card game."
They added: "Others, like going out without your bank cards or driving without petrol in the tank, are probably best avoided.

"We like to say what's life without taking a chance every now and again? As long as you're safe and savvy, adding a dash of harmless risk to your day can make the little wins feel like big ones."
Moreover, the research revealed that around 65 per cent of participants see themselves as risk-takers when it comes to their everyday existence.
Almost a third (27 per cent) often fail to think through the consequences, but a whopping 96 per cent have seen a risky situation pay off in the end. Leaving 20 per cent feeling thrilled and 15 per cent feeling like a true winner.
Around 20 per cent are most likely to embrace risks related to their social life, whilst a mere six per cent would roll the dice when it comes to their job.
Yet, 42 per cent have wishes of being more spontaneous or daring because over half 52 per cent reckon taking minor risks adds a zest to life, finds a poll conducted via OnePoll.
The rep from Lottoland added: "It's always thrilling taking a chance on something, especially when it pays off, so it's no wonder so many feel like a winner with these.
"Who knows what we might all be capable of with a little harmless risk in our lives."
