Bridlington Comic Con is returning this month with an exciting mixture of guests, stalls, props, cosplay and comics.
Bond Girl and Hammer Horror star Madeline Smith, who appeared with Horror legends Vincent Price in Theatre Of Blood and Peter Cushing in Vampire Lovers, will be among the special guests on Sunday, September 15, at Bridlington Spa. Her other career co-stars included Diana Dors, Frankie Howard, Eric Morecambe, The Two Ronnies, and the Carry On Team in Carry On Matron.
Madeline has the official title of Roger Moore’s first Bond Girl. She appears in the iconic 'magnetic watch' pre-titles scene of Moore’s first outing as 007 in the 1973 classic Live And Let Die.

Zoe Heriot, the futuristic companion of the second Doctor, Patrick Troughton, will also be at the Comic Con. Alongside Patrick, and Frazer Hines as Jamie McCrimmon, this was one of the most loved TARDIS teams in Doctor Who history.
Nineties comedy star and prince of improvisation Tony Slattery from Whose Line Is It Anyway? will also be there. Tony has appeared in a number of TV shows and films.
He recently made the documentary What’s The Matter With Tony Slattery sharing his struggles with mental health. Tony will be joined by some of his improvisation friends for a live comedy show as part of the day's entertainment.
Not to be missed are Clem So and Jon Campling. Clem has appeared in Bond, Marvel and DC films and Jon became globally famous as a sinister Death Eater on the Hogwarts Express in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows.
Comic book artists and creatives will also be in attendance. Not only will they be selling their comics and original artwork, but also providing a number of free workshops to give everyone a taste of what it’s like to draw heroes and villains.
Visitors will also be encouraged to take part in the famous cosplay competition. This year, organisers are adding extra prize categories so more people can enjoy entering the competition.
On top of all of this, there will be board games, VR games, Stormtroopers, the odd Dalek, traders selling merchandise, Q&As, autographs, Lego, a creative zone and props recreating favourite scenes including The Iron Throne and Wednesday Addams' study.
Early 11am entry tickets are available to purchase online on the Brid Comic Con website. Adult tickets (age 16+) cost £9, child tickets (age 5–15) cost £5 and children under five can attend completely free.
Bridlington Comic Con takes place on Sunday, September 15 at Bridlington Spa. Tickets are also available on the door on the day from 12pm.
