Popular brands such as Top Shop, Miss Selfridge and The Gadget Shop have disappeared along with others you may have forgotten
It is 33 years this week since Princes Quay Shopping Centre opened its doors for the first time. On March 15 1991, excited shoppers were able to explore more than 70 stores across three decks. And that was before the once-popular Top Deck market, with its Wild West theme, opened for business.
Today, after decades of a declining high street, Princes Quay has diversified, with more leisure outlets, such as the Brew Dog bar and Superbowl UK, alongside the shops. However, three of the original brands still remain today.
